The idea of the Shifa Family was conceived in 1985 in New York, USA, by a group of Pakistani doctors. Their vision was to bring international standard healthcare to the people of Pakistan. Today, Shifa International Hospital Islamabad is a 550-bed advanced quaternary care facility, serving the community for over 25 years.

Shifa Foundation

Shifa Foundation is the sister organization of Shifa International Hospital and a well reputed not-for-profit organization, established in 1991. Shifa Foundation provides assistance to underprivileged people across Pakistan in preventive & curative healthcare, water & sanitation, environment and climate change, disaster emergency response, and promotes voluntary services in educational institutions.

Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University (STMU)

Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University is a federally chartered multi-discipline university jointly sponsored by Shifa Foundation, Tameer-e-Millat Foundation, and Shifa International Hospitals Ltd. STMU aspires to reestablish the Islamic educational concept while promoting character building through noble spiritual and moral values.
