Celebrating Defense Day with Shifa Foundation: Honoring Our Heroes and Supporting the Underprivileged

Each year, Pakistan’s Defense Day reminds us of the courage, sacrifice, and unity displayed by our armed forces in defending our nation. At Shifa Foundation, we believe it is vital to instill these values of patriotism and resilience in the younger generation, especially among those in underprivileged communities who may not always have access to resources for celebrating this national day.

This year, Shifa Foundation celebrated Defense Day by organizing a special event for children from marginalized backgrounds. The aim was twofold: to provide these children with the means to join in the festivities, and to educate them about the significance of this historic day.

The children were handed Pakistan’s national flags, a symbol of our unity and independence. Their excitement was palpable as they waved the flags proudly, connecting them to the spirit of Defense Day.
