But together, we can change their stories and give them a chance at a better life.   Among every 500 births, one child is born with cleft lip and palate, and since cleft repair surgery is not covered under Pakistan‘s overburdened public health care system, thousands of children grow to adulthood with this condition untreated. Shifa Foundation is dedicated to providing hope and happiness to children born with cleft lip and palate deformities. Our mission at Shifa Foundation is to perform life-transforming cleft lip surgeries for these children, regardless of their economic backgrounds. We believe that every child deserves access to proper medical care and a chance to live a life free from the limitations imposed by their condition.
