Help us raise $4,600 to support treatment of 46 non-affording patients with Cataract
In Pakistan, 66 percent of blindness cases are caused by cataract, which is a preventable medical condition. A cataract is a clouding of the lens in the eye which leads to a decrease in vision.
Professor Dr. Sulman Jaffer, a Lead Consultant Ophthalmologist at Shifa International Hospital and Head of Ophthalmology Department at Shifa College of Medicine in collaboration with Shifa Foundation in Pakistan has launched a campaign to treat at least 46 non-affording patients with cataract.
Though the average expense of cataract surgery is $700, under this campaign, Shifa Foundation offers a special package of $100 for needy patients.
