During emergencies
Inpatient wards were established to take care of the critically ill, those who couldn’t be managed at home and those whom had undergone surgical procedures.The condition in these wards were improved to provide hygienic environments. All treatment was done free of cost here

During peace
PKI has an inpatient urology ward within the premises of Shifa International Hospital,where patients are admitted at absolute minimum costs and in some instances absolutely free after reconstructive surgeries, complicated cancer procedures, preventive procedures, kidney transplants and dialysis. PKI has had almost 1700 admissions for major surgeries in 7 years i.e from 2004-2011.
SF’s Falahee clinic’s IPD has around100 beds where 60-70 patients get free treatment daily. It covers all major specialties like Surgery, Medicine, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Pediatrics and Cardiology.
The following X-ray facilities are available at SF. (CT, MRI & special procedure are done at Shifa International Hospital Radiology Dept.)

In order to maintain the high quality of services, we not only upgrade hospital equipment but also continue to keep abreast with the latest trends and technologies.
SF together with providing medical examination and prescriptions also distributes free medicines and at very few occasions,on subsidized rates.This it does on a daily basis in its Falahee clinic and at times of emergency, in the outreach facilities. More over the counseling of patients to understand their medication to maximize its benefits and minimize the risks is also done.
